QHow do I order?

Our wesbite has been created similar to a shopping cart, however we dont accept payment upon ordering. We are simply using an Order Cart. Take your time and browse through the templates and products we have to offer and simply select what you like. This will be added to your cart and once you have finished adding your goodies simply checkout and the order will come through to us. We will then be in contact within 24 hours and from here we will discuss the finer details and arrange for you to send your photos electronically or via the good old fashioned post. We can accept files via email, on CD, DVD, USB stick, Photo card or the orginials to scan. If the template you have choosen contains an area for a name, date etc, you will also need to provide us with the correct spelling and details. Once we have layed the image into the template, we will make any minor adjustments such as lighting or colour changes, red eye reductions or cropping (all in which is included in the price), and email you a low resolution version of your finished artwork or products for you to check and approve. Once you have emailed us approving your artwork, payment is requried and once that is confirmed we will then print it and have it finalised and sent to you.

QHow and when do I pay?

When placing your order on our site you DO NOT PAY!!! It is simply just an order form. Once you have given us the approval of your artwork, we require the full payment. This can be done either via PayPal or a Direct Debit. We will confirm with you which option best suits and provide you with the necessary information, once we have confirmation of payment your artwork or products will go to print.

QCan I pick up rather than have it delivered?

You certainly can pick up your product if you prefer to do so. We are based on the Gold Coast so if that suits please let us know and we can arrange a suitable pick up time and place for you.

QHow will it be delivered & what is the cost?

If you are based on the Gold Coast or in Brisbane your artwork will be delivered by courier at the rate of $15.00. Should you be based anywhere else through out Australia or the World, upon ordering we can confirm method of delivery and the cost prior to you paying for your order.

QHow long does it take to recieve the finished product?

It normally take about 5 working days to liase with you in regards to what photos you wish to use and getting a final proof back to you. This of course will depend on how quickly you respond to emails we send you for feedback. We make it a priority to keep in contact with you so as to get your orders created in a timely fashion. For both Canvas & Artmount Prints from the time you approve your artwork it takes 7-13 working days for it to be finalised, printed and sent to you. With the Personalised Products range, these can take upto 3 – 4 weeks from your approval. A faster shipping method is available from our suppliers and should you wish to get a personalised item quicker we can quote you a price for faster shipping to us. Please note that on all products and artwork you will be notified once it is ready and has left Star Concepts so that you know to keep an eye out for it. We will keep you upto date as much as possible so you are aware of where you order is at.

QHow do I choose the right photos to suit the design I have choosen?

In the descriptions next to each template it indicates whether it is best to choose a shot in ‘portrait’ or ‘landscape’ style to best fit that template. It is highly recommended that you use this guide as it will ensure the photo fits properly and doesn’t look stretched or out of shape in any way. If you are having trouble deciding on which one will look best, we will be happy to give you some guidance and help you decide. From experience it is better to send us more photos and let our expert eye decide which photo’s are going to give you the best results. Templates can be varied slightly to accomodate photos also. This is all part of our personalised service.

QWhat kind of photos can I use?

You can use photos you have taken with your own digital camera in jpg or tiff format or photos you have had done by a professional photographer. If you are wanting to use prints, negatives or slides from years ago, provided they are in good condition, we are able to scan images for you at a small cost. If you have had digital photos printed we would need the orginal file in order to ensure the pictures is of good quality to reproduce. Please note that if you are providing images that have been taken by a professional photographer we will need to get a release signed from them and a mention of that particular photographer will be added to the back of the canvas. Provided you have good quality shots taken in high resolution (2.0MB or higer) a good reproduction can be created. Basically the BIGGER THE BETTER!!! Photo’s taken on phones do not reproduce well. Please make sure you take photos with a camera and not a phone if you wish to do special things with them!!!
